We have represented people in all aspects of the criminal justice system and have tried dozens of cases to judges and juries throughout New Mexico, in both state and federal court.

Our belief is that no one should be locked in a cage.  From the moment we receive a case, we fight to get our clients out of jail and to keep them out. 

We approach cases differently than most criminal defense attorneys.  With a comprehensive, strategic approach to each case, we strive to obtain the best possible result, whether that is a dismissal, a trial victory, or a favorable plea deal.  We approach each case from a risk-based perspective and seek to minimize that risk at every step of the case.

Civil Rights and Civil Litigation

We have extensive experience in a wide variety of civil matters.  From representing individuals who have been mistreated by law enforcement and correctional officers to obtaining expungement of criminal records, our focus is on representing and obtaining justice for individuals.  We strive to protect the rights of people from corporate and government oppression. 

Impact Litigation

Our firm strives to change society for the better. While the legal system can sometimes be used to silence and oppress, the law can also be a strong tool for social change. Some of our most important cases are those where the litigation serves not only our client but can create broad, lasting change for the entire community. Whenever possible, we try to take on cases that create a better society for everyone.
